Who can take part

  • You have breast cancer that is metastatic (spread) or cannot be removed by surgery
  • Your tumor tests show estrogen receptors are at least 10%, and you have a specific ESR1 mutation (from biopsy tissue or blood)
  • Your cancer must be HER2 negative, based on lab testing
  • You must have measurable disease, or evaluable bone-only disease that includes at least one bone area 10 mm or larger (no liver-only disease)
  • You must have had at least 1 prior hormone (endocrine) treatment for metastatic cancer or the cancer must have progressed within 12 months of hormone treatment given after diagnosis surgery
  • Your health checks must be adequate (blood counts and organ/liver/kidney function), and your energy level must be ECOG 0–1
