Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older
- You have squamous cell carcinoma (a type of head and neck cancer) confirmed by biopsy
- Your main tumor is in the oral cavity or the oropharynx (part of the throat)
- Your doctors think your cancer can be fully removed with surgery
- You can do study visits and follow-up, and you can sign consent
- If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test within 14 days before the dye is given
