This study tests two special dyes (Patent Blue V and indocyanine green) to help surgeons find and remove lymph nodes affected by squamous cell carcinoma in the mouth or skin. The goal is to improve surgery outcomes and reduce complications.

Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Have squamous cell carcinoma (SCC, a type of skin cancer) in the mouth or head/neck skin with 1–2 affected lymph nodes
- Cancer is operable (can be safely removed with surgery)
- This is your first head/neck cancer diagnosis (or you had pre-surgery chemotherapy/radiation)
- Healthy enough for surgery (ECOG performance status 0–2, meaning you can do light to moderate activities)
- No allergies to the dyes or iodine, normal thyroid and kidney function, not on beta-blockers, not pregnant/breastfeeding
