Who can take part
- You’re 18 to 75 years old.
- Your diagnosis is remnant stomach cancer (not widespread) based on scans before surgery.
- Pre-op scans show no distant spread and no direct invasion into nearby organs like the pancreas, spleen, or other nearby organs.
- Your general health is fairly good (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) and your anesthesia risk class is 1 to 3 (ASA).
- You are not pregnant or breast-feeding, and you can sign the study consent form.
- You should not have a serious iodine allergy, and you likely have no recent major heart/ lung limits or certain other cancers/ treatments in the last few years.
