Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older
  • You are scheduled for a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram) at Tulane Medical Center
  • You can understand and speak English (and complete study questions in English)
  • You do not have cognitive impairments that would prevent giving consent or following instructions
  • You can physically wear the Biostrap during the echocardiogram
