Laser test for aging-related macular spots under the retina

Macular Degeneration, SenileLaser Burn of RetinaMacular Degeneration IntermediateMacular Degeneration, Dry

Part of Eyes & vision clinical trials.

This trial studies a mild (“subthreshold”) laser treatment for reticular pseudodrusen (RPD) caused by age-related macular degeneration (AMD). If you qualify, the goal is to see whether the laser helps preserve or improve vision by targeting these specific eye changes.

Test retinal responses to light in healthy eyes or eye disease

This is a small pilot study that measures how parts of the retina change before and after light stimulation. It may help researchers understand eye function in people with normal vision or specific eye conditions like glaucoma or dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Laser light therapy for retinal changes from macular degeneration

This trial tests whether a special laser (photobiomodulation) can help slow or improve vision loss from reticular pseudodrusen, a specific type of retinal damage seen in age-related macular degeneration. The laser delivers safe light energy to stimulate healing in the eye.

New light therapy for intermediate age-related macular degeneration

This trial tests a new light-based treatment for intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common eye condition that can lead to vision loss. The goal is to see if it is safe and helps slow down the disease.

MacuTherm laser treatment study for intermediate age-related macular degeneration

This study tests a new laser treatment (MacuTherm) for intermediate age-related macular degeneration (iAMD), an eye condition that affects central vision. The study aims to see if this treatment can slow or prevent progression to more advanced stages of the disease.

Subthreshold laser for retinitis pigmentosa

This trial tests a gentle laser treatment (SML) for people with retinitis pigmentosa (RP), an inherited eye disease that slowly causes vision loss. The goal is to see if the laser can help slow or improve vision problems like night blindness and tunnel vision.

Micropulsed laser for swelling in inherited retina conditions

This study tests whether a micropulsed laser can reduce swelling in the macula (central vision area) in people with inherited retinal diseases. It may help improve or stabilize vision-related swelling seen on detailed eye scans.
