Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) based on eye exam, vision tests, and genetic testing
  • Your best corrected vision must be at least 20/250 (Snellen) in at least one eye
  • You cannot have other serious eye diseases like glaucoma or macular degeneration
  • You cannot have had eye surgery (except uncomplicated cataract surgery) in the past 3 months
  • You cannot use other RP treatments or immune-modulating medications during the study or for 3 months before
