Who can take part
- You are a child age 2 to 12 years
- You have both sides (bilateral) with baby molars that have tooth decay close to the nerve, or reaching it
- You need pulpotomy and/or indirect pulp cap treatment in two or more areas of the mouth
- You can receive care at Geisinger and your parent/guardian can give consent in English
- The child’s pre-treatment signs should NOT suggest irreversible pulp inflammation or dead (necrotic) pulp
