Who can take part
- You have chronic kidney disease with an eGFR under 60, or you have been on dialysis for more than 3 months
- You have not had a kidney transplant before
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30
- If you can become pregnant, you must use effective birth control
- You do not have diabetes (based on recent blood sugar and diabetes medicines)
- You can give informed consent and agree to study procedures
