Who can take part

  • Be 60 or older (or 55 or older for the physical-activity groups)
  • Have a blood cancer diagnosis and have had (or will have) a stem cell transplant
  • If in the activity groups: be able to walk 4 meters (about 13 feet)
  • Be cleared by a doctor to exercise if needed (especially if you have recent heart problems or recent hip/knee/spine surgery)
  • Be able to speak and read English and sign written consent
  • You (and your care-partner, if included) must be able to safely do light to moderate exercise
