Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a subdural hematoma.
  • You are being evaluated in the emergency room or a neurosurgery outpatient clinic.
  • You (or your substitute decision-maker, if needed) can give consent to join the study.
  • The medical team cannot enroll you if consent cannot be obtained from you or your substitute decision-maker.
  • You do not have a known allergy to the liquid agent used to block the bleeding vessel.
