Who can take part
- Be between 12 months old and younger than 22 years when you register (turning 22 later is okay).
- Have a solid tumor outside the brain that is either recurrent (came back) or refractory (still growing despite standard treatment).
- Have a tumor sample with at least 1+ GPC3 protein detected by a specific test (immunohistochemistry/IHC); you may be able to do a prescreen test.
- Have at least one measurable tumor spot on scans, and be well enough to take part (Lansky/Karnofsky score at least 50%).
- If you have neurologic problems, they must be stable and you must be off steroid medicines for at least 1 week before starting.
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and use effective birth control if pregnancy is possible; also you must have recovered from side effects of any prior cancer treatment.
