  • You are planning to have a primary rotator cuff repair surgery
  • You are male
  • Your rotator cuff tear is full-thickness and wider than 1 cm (supraspinatus/infraspinatus)
  • You do not have an active infection
  • You have not already been taking testosterone before surgery
  • You can read and understand study instructions and agree to follow-up imaging after surgery
