Who can take part

  • You can read and understand the consent form and agree to sign it
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • Your overall health is fairly good (ECOG 0 to 2)
  • Your prostate cancer is intermediate- to high-risk based on tumor stage, PSA, and/or Gleason score
  • Your cancer appears limited to the prostate and/or seminal vesicles (no spread to distant sites or suspicious pelvic lymph nodes)
  • Your prostate is 60 cc or smaller, and you can safely have sedation or general anesthesia
