Who can take part

  • You have confirmed prostate cancer that is considered “high risk” (based on your biopsy stage or PSA level, or lymph node involvement).
  • Your cancer has spread only to the region being treated—not to bones and not to distant lymph nodes—based on scans before treatment.
  • You can do daily activities fairly well (performance status 0–2).
  • Your recent blood tests are high enough: neutrophils ≥ 1,500, platelets ≥ 100,000, and hemoglobin ≥ 8.0.
  • You can sign the study consent form and follow the study plan.
  • You have not had certain prior treatments that conflict with this radiation plan (no prior prostate surgery like prostatectomy or overlapping prostate radiation).
