Who can take part
- You are age 20 or older and can understand and sign consent
- You are having a first-time procedure (no prior endoscopic sphincterotomy)
- You had brief bleeding right after the procedure, stopping within 30 seconds
- You do not have severe bleeding or clotting problems (for example, very low platelets, or high INR/PT/aPTT)
- You do not have major liver disease, kidney failure (stage 4–5), or are not on dialysis
- You are not pregnant and have no epinephrine allergy; you have no active stomach/intestinal bleeding
