Who can take part
- You are from birth up to under age 30
- You have a blood cancer such as acute leukemia, chronic leukemia, MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome), MDS/AML, or a related condition (myeloproliferative syndrome)
- Your diagnosis (or return of the disease) has been confirmed with a tissue/bone marrow/blood pathology test
- You have enough leftover sample for genetic testing, or a bone marrow/blood draw is already planned for your usual care so the research sample can be collected
- Your leukemia measurements suggest active disease (for example, enough immature cancer cells in the blood, often called blasts)
