Who can take part

  • You have either major depression or OCD diagnosed by standard criteria
  • Your symptoms are at least a certain severity level on approved rating scales
  • You tried at least one standard first treatment before (or couldn’t take it due to reasons like side effects or not tolerating exposure therapy)
  • You’re either not taking antidepressants, or you’ve been on a stable dose for at least 4 weeks (with a plan to keep the same dose during the study)
  • You can give informed consent
  • You do not have major safety blockers to TMS, based on screening (for example, certain brain/metal/health risks)
