Hypo-fractionated radiation versus standard radiation for lung cancer

Who can take part

  • You’re age 18 or older and can understand the study, or your legal representative can
  • You have stage IIIA or IIIB non-small cell lung cancer that can be measured on scans
  • Your body’s strength is fairly good (ECOG performance status 0 to 2)
  • Your scans show no spread to distant sites (PET/CT no metastases, plus brain scan shows none)
  • You must be able to meet treatment rules, including organ/blood test requirements and staying on study plan
  • You must not have had prior radiation to the chest (thoracic radiotherapy)
