Who can take part
- Your left atrium (a heart chamber) is smaller than 55 mm
- Your AF came back even after antiarrhythmic medicines, or you couldn’t tolerate them
- You can take blood-thinning medicine (to help prevent stroke/clot problems)
- You do not have major heart structure problems that affect blood flow
- You can get a CT scan using contrast dye, if needed
- You’re not dealing with active bleeding or serious other illnesses, and you can likely live at least 1 year
