Who can take part

  • Your left atrium (a heart chamber) is smaller than 55 mm
  • Your AF came back even after antiarrhythmic medicines, or you couldn’t tolerate them
  • You can take blood-thinning medicine (to help prevent stroke/clot problems)
  • You do not have major heart structure problems that affect blood flow
  • You can get a CT scan using contrast dye, if needed
  • You’re not dealing with active bleeding or serious other illnesses, and you can likely live at least 1 year
