Who can take part
- You are pregnant and can safely do pregnancy-adapted exercise classes, or you are not pregnant and have never given birth
- Your obstetric care provider agrees you can join the study and do the exercise and testing
- You can attend about 3 exercise classes each week until delivery (pregnant group)
- You will take part in scheduled health/testing visits during pregnancy, after delivery, and for up to one year (and allow newborn/child follow-up checkups)
- You can keep joining postpartum exercise at least once a week for the study plan (and do the home exercises as instructed)
