Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must fit one of these groups: healthy with no kidney/heart/liver swelling problems, or chronic kidney disease (CKD), or on dialysis for kidney failure
- If you have CKD: your kidney filtration estimate (eGFR) must be below 90
- If you are on dialysis: you must have been on maintenance hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis for more than 3 months
- You must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy
- You must be able to have an MRI scan safely (no non-removable metal/implants and no severe claustrophobia)
