Who can take part

  • You are older than 6 years old.
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of ARPKD (a rare genetic kidney disease that starts in childhood).
  • You can lie still inside an MRI machine for about 30 minutes.
  • Your kidney function (eGFR) is above 30, based on a blood test done in the last year.
  • You have not had a kidney or other solid organ transplant.
  • You do not have any metal implants or other reasons that make an MRI unsafe.
