Closed-loop oxygen control for very preterm babies on ventilators

Infant, Premature, DiseasesAirway MorbidityMechanical Ventilation Complication

Part of Genetic & congenital clinical trials.

This trial tests a computer-guided (“closed-loop”) oxygen control system for very preterm babies who need breathing support. It aims to keep oxygen levels safer and more consistent than standard care.

Automatic oxygen control for premature babies on breathing support

This trial tests a device that automatically adjusts oxygen levels for premature babies who need help breathing through tubes or masks in their nose. The goal is to keep oxygen levels in a safer, more stable range without needing staff to manually adjust it constantly.

Support for breathing in very premature newborns

This study looks at a different way to help very premature babies breathe in the first minutes after birth, which may improve their breathing and reduce lung problems.

NEU-STIM for breathing support in very premature newborns

This trial studies whether NEU-STIM can help support breathing and oxygen levels in babies born very early. If your baby is born before 32 weeks, the study may include them after you provide consent.

NCT06829732Recruiting
Closed-loop oxygen control for ICU patients on a breathing machine

This trial tests a closed-loop system that automatically adjusts the oxygen level in your breathing tube, aiming to keep your oxygen levels in a safe range with less need for manual changes. It may help if you are in the ICU, need a breathing machine, and have low blood oxygen despite receiving extra oxygen.

Closed-loop breathing control vs standard care for kids in ICU

This study compares a computerized “closed-loop” system that helps match breathing support to a child’s needs versus usual (standard) breathing control. It’s for critically ill children on a breathing machine, aiming to improve synchronization between the child and the ventilator.

Closing the loop on oxygen use during high flow therapy

This trial tests a system that automatically adjusts oxygen levels for patients receiving high flow oxygen therapy. The goal is to see if it can keep oxygen levels in a safe range better than usual care.
