Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to sign consent
- You must have brain metastases from kidney cancer that have not been treated yet (or worsened after SRS/surgery)
- Your brain tumors must be measurable on MRI (between 5 mm and 30 mm) and you need at least one target lesion
- You should not need steroids for brain symptoms for at least 10 days before starting (unless your symptoms are mild and stable)
- Your overall health and blood tests must be strong enough (bone marrow, liver, kidneys, and nutrition markers)
- You must be well enough to do daily activities (ECOG performance status 0 to 2) and you must be expected to live at least 12 weeks
