Who can take part
- You have a small bladder (less than 150 milliliters capacity) that is stiff or scarred
- Your condition is not caused by nerve problems in the bladder (non-neurogenic bladder)
- Medicine for bladder control either did not work at the maximum dose or you could not tolerate it
- You need bladder enlargement because your bladder pressure is very high or you had new kidney/urine backflow problems within the last year
- You can learn and keep doing clean intermittent catheterization and bladder cycling for the study
- You are able to safely have general anesthesia, and you can sign consent in English
