Testing shorter chemotherapy for early HER2 or triple‑negative breast cancer

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • Your breast cancer tests as either HER2-positive or triple-negative (ER negative, PR negative, and HER2 negative), based on local lab tests.
  • Your cancer is stage 1, and it must fit specific tumor-size and lymph-node rules (it’s not allowed to be the very smallest pT1aN0 type).
  • You can consent before surgery (preferred) or shortly after surgery, and you’re able to complete study visits for blood tests and follow-up for 5 years.
  • Your cancer has not spread to distant organs (no distant metastatic disease).
  • You have not had chemotherapy or other cancer treatment for this breast cancer before (except surgery if you enroll after surgery).
