Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder (AUD)
  • You are currently not drinking alcohol (abstinent)
  • You plan to stay in the study’s lodging program until the training period ends
  • You do not have medical or brain problems that could interfere (like past stroke or certain major head injuries)
  • You can safely do MRI scans and brain stimulation (tDCS) without contraindications
  • You are not left-handed and you are not required to enter the program by court order
