Ultrasound therapy for shoulder movement after stroke

Who can take part

  • You are an adult age 20 or older and have had a stroke
  • You are being seen for musculoskeletal (bone/muscle) complaints in physical medicine/rehab
  • You do not have a history of cancer (malignancy)
  • Your medical conditions are controlled (no major uncontrolled diseases like active rheumatic arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis)
  • You have not had major shoulder-region injuries or surgeries recently, and no suprascapular nerve block in either shoulder in the past 3 months
  • You can communicate and think clearly enough to follow instructions (not specific aphasia or very poor cognition)
