Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You had a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) confirmed by CT or MRI scan
  • It has been at least 6 months since your stroke
  • You have shoulder pain on the side affected by the stroke, rated 4 or higher on a pain scale
  • You can understand study instructions and report your pain level reliably
  • You do not have other shoulder problems (like rotator cuff tears or arthritis) unrelated to your stroke
