New metastatic pancreatic cancer: targeted chemo before FOLFIRINOX
Part of Cancer, Digestive system, Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.
This trial tests whether adding Gembrax (a combination that includes gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel) before standard FOLFIRINOX works better than FOLFIRINOX alone in people with pancreatic cancer that has already spread. It looks at whether this “step-up first” approach improves results and is still tolerable.

Who can take part
- You’re 18 to 75 years old when you sign the consent
- Your pancreatic cancer has spread (metastatic adenocarcinoma) and at least one spot is measurable on scans
- You can have had past treatment for the non-metastatic cancer only if the relapse happened at least 6 months after your last treatment
- Your general health is good enough (WHO performance status 0–1) to handle treatment
- Your blood counts and organ blood tests (kidney, liver, bilirubin) are within required limits
- If you can become pregnant (or have a partner who can), you agree to reliable birth control during treatment and for 6 months after

This trial tests a stronger version of FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy for people with pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body. It aims to see if the new dosing schedule works better and is safe.
This Phase 2 study tests how well olaptesed plus pembrolizumab works with irinotecan or with gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel in people with metastatic pancreatic cancer that keeps growing after standard first treatment. It may help control the cancer by changing how the body fights tumors and by delivering chemotherapy differently.
This trial tests a combination of three drugs (gemcitabine, erlotinib, and nab-paclitaxel) for people with a specific type of pancreatic cancer called 'basal-like' PDAC. It aims to see if this targeted approach works better than standard treatment.
This trial tests a new combination of three drugs (QL1706, chidamide, and AG) as the very first treatment for people with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and effective, and it may offer a new option for those who have not had any prior therapy.
This trial tests gemcitabine chemotherapy in people with metastatic pancreatic cancer who cannot take FOLFIRINOX. It aims to see how well gemcitabine works based on a specific tumor marker called GemCore.
This study compares two chemotherapy strategies for people with advanced pancreatic cancer who have not yet had treatment. The goal is to see if switching to a different chemotherapy combination (gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel) after initial treatment works better than staying on the original chemotherapy (modified FOLFIRINOX).
