Who can take part
- You have newly diagnosed WHO grade 4 glioblastoma or gliosarcoma confirmed by pathology or molecular testing
- You had surgery with carmustine wafers placed, and you have not had prior treatment for this brain cancer (other than surgery/wafer placement)
- You can get a post-surgery MRI or CT scan within 72 hours (preferably within 24 hours) and are recovering well
- You must be able to take the study medicines by mouth and can safely absorb temozolomide (no major swallowing or bowel issues)
- You should be well enough for treatment (Karnofsky performance status 60 or higher) and be stable or improving on steroids
- Blood tests should show your organs and bone marrow are functioning well enough for treatment
