Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You have a confirmed high-grade brain tumor (WHO grade III or IV), including certain specific subtypes
  • Your standard treatment plan must be radiation (XRT) plus temozolomide (TMZ) for 6 weeks, then TMZ for six 28-day cycles
  • Your general strength level must be adequate (Karnofsky score of 70 or higher)
  • Blood counts and organ function must meet lab thresholds (enough red cells, white cells, platelets, and liver/kidney results)
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must use birth control if you can get pregnant or make someone pregnant
