Who can take part

  • You must be age 16 to 80.
  • You’re either generally healthy or have previously confirmed G1D (genetic diagnosis).
  • You can safely have MRI with your dental work (fillings, crowns, or up to 4 cm retainer wire).
  • You cannot have uncontrolled seizures in the last 3 months.
  • You must not be pregnant (pregnancy testing is done for people who could become pregnant).
  • You must not have certain implanted devices (like pacemakers or ICDs) and must be able to tolerate the MRI space.
