Who can take part

  • You have chronic pancreatitis and are scheduled for TP-IAT
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • Your diabetes blood sugar test (HbA1c) must be under 12%
  • You should not be taking immunosuppressing medicines right now
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You must not have major liver problems (based on ALT, AST, and bilirubin more than 3 times the normal limit)
