Who can take part

  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and your pancreas makes very little or no insulin.
  • Your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is 7% or higher.
  • You have frequent or severe low blood sugar episodes despite insulin therapy.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You do not have active infections, serious heart or kidney disease, or a history of certain cancers.
