Who can take part

  • You are age 60 or older
  • You are scheduled for hip or knee replacement surgery on one side only
  • Your surgery is expected to happen in about 4 to 15 months
  • You are “pre-frail” or “frail” based on a questionnaire score
  • You are not currently in another exercise program
  • You can speak or understand English, or you have a caregiver who can translate
