  • Be older than 18 years
  • Be willing and able to consent for the study
  • Receive care at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock (DHMC) ear/hearing clinic, or work for Dartmouth/DHMC, or qualify through community enrollment under COVID rules
  • Have hearing loss (the study aims to include a range of severities)
  • No known brain problems such as brain tumors or past stroke
  • No history of seizures, and no blindness
