Who can take part
- Your baby has a congenital (from birth) heart condition that depends on an open duct (blood vessel)
- Your baby was born at full term
- A parent or legal guardian can sign consent for the study
- Your baby must not have feeding intolerance or major feeding problems
- Your baby must be stable (not in hemodynamic instability) and not already very sick
- Your baby should have birth weight of at least 2500 grams and not be mostly fed with formula by mouth or tube
