Study medicine for Tourette syndrome tics in adults

Who can take part

  • You have Tourette syndrome confirmed by a standard diagnosis used in clinics (DSM-5)
  • You are an adult age 18 to 65
  • Your tic severity is high enough based on specific clinic rating scales (total tic score >14 and overall severity score ≥4)
  • If you take tic and related-comorbidity treatments (or have deep brain stimulation settings), your doses must be stable for at least 6 weeks and you must agree to keep them stable during the study
  • You can understand the study and agree in writing to follow study visits and safety rules
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use very effective birth control during the study; if you are a man, you must agree to condom use with partners and avoid sperm donation for 3 months after the last dose
