Who can take part

  • Child must be 3 to under 18 years old and still likely to grow (for new-start group)
  • Must have achondroplasia confirmed by genetic testing (for new-start group)
  • Must be able to swallow medicine by mouth
  • If the child is a girl age 10+ (or already had her first period), pregnancy test must be negative
  • If sexually active, must agree to reliable birth control during treatment and for 1 month after the last dose
  • Only for children who can follow study visits/procedures and have consent/assent
