Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (age 18 or older).
  • You currently receive care from a University of Chicago Medical Center provider who is part of this clinic.
  • You take at least 5 medications and you’re on a “perpetrator” medicine (one that can change how other drugs work) or a medicine where gene information can guide choices.
  • You have not had a liver or kidney transplant planned or started being considered.
  • You are not in another pharmacogenomics (gene-guided medicine) study and you haven’t had genetic testing elsewhere.
  • You can understand the study and give informed consent.
