Omega-3 and NMDA support for early memory problems
Part of Brain & nervous system, Mental health clinical trials.
This Phase 2 trial studies whether adding omega-3 and an “NMDA support” treatment can improve or slow symptoms in early Alzheimer’s disease or mild cognitive impairment. It may help by supporting brain signaling involved in memory and thinking.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.

- Your thinking test score (MMSE) is between 10 and 26
- Your daily function/stage score (CDR) is 1 or 0.5
- You do not have a stroke-related cause pattern on the Hachinski test (score must be 4 or less)

This Phase 2 study looks at how well a medicine that targets DAO (an enzyme in the body) helps people with Alzheimer’s disease or mild cognitive impairment. You may be considered if your memory symptoms are mild to moderate and you meet specific brain-function and symptom scoring rules.
This study enrolls people with no memory impairment, mild memory problems, or mild Alzheimer’s dementia to test how brain scans and cognitive tests relate to Alzheimer’s disease. It may help by contributing to better early diagnosis and by letting you see whether you fit into the study’s imaging and blood-test pathway.
This trial tests a new combination treatment (DAOIB and an antioxidant) for people with early Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. It aims to see if the treatment can help slow or improve memory and thinking problems.
This Phase 2 trial tests DAOIB to improve “brain fog” and thinking problems that happen after COVID-19. You may be screened if your symptoms started after a COVID infection and have lasted for months, and if your health tests are normal.
This Phase 2 trial tests whether adding an “NMDA-enhancing” treatment plus an antioxidant can improve ongoing schizophrenia symptoms over 12 weeks. It’s meant for people who still have symptoms even though their usual antipsychotic dose has been stable for at least 3 months.
This trial tests an investigational drug called Neuroaid II (MLC901) for people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. It aims to see if the drug can help slow down memory and thinking problems.
