Who can take part

  • You have health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana (BCBSLA)
  • You have been continuously enrolled in BCBSLA for the past year and plan to stay for the next year
  • You are 40 years or older and can speak English
  • You have been diagnosed with essential high blood pressure and are currently refilling blood pressure medicine
  • Your refills and/or self-reported use suggest you may not be taking medicines consistently
  • Your blood pressure is not at goal (top number 130+ or bottom number 80+), and you want to improve it
