Who can take part
- You are an adult over 18.
- You have been diagnosed with essential hypertension (high blood pressure).
- Your blood pressure has been uncontrolled in the past year (average top number/“SBP” 140 or higher at doctor visits).
- At enrollment, your SBP is still 140 or higher based on two research blood pressure checks.
- You can communicate in English with an interpreter if needed, and you can understand the study enough to consent.
- You are not pregnant (or you can confirm you are not pregnant before joining).
