Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have high blood pressure diagnosed by a doctor, or your blood pressure has been high (≥140/90) at two separate checkups.
  • You have lived in the community for at least the past 6 months and plan to stay for the study.
  • You are not currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next year.
  • You do not have a serious illness needing intensive care, like advanced cancer or kidney failure.
