Testing balance changes in older people with neck spinal cord wear
Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Brain & nervous system clinical trials.
This trial studies how changes in balance and body sensing (proprioception) show up in people with age-related neck spinal cord problems. It may help researchers understand symptoms and how best to evaluate or manage degenerative cervical myelopathy.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.

This trial tests how neck problems affect balance in people with cervical spondylosis (arthritis or wear-and-tear of the neck bones). If you have mild to moderate neck disability and are in good general health, you may be able to join.
This study looks at balance problems in people with Parkinson's disease. It uses simple tests to understand what causes trouble with standing and walking, which may help find better treatments.
