Who can take part

  • You have MDS, AML, or MDS/MPN confirmed by a bone marrow/histology review
  • Your past records suggest you may respond to “hypomethylating” medicines like decitabine (HMA)
  • You are at least 18 years old and able to sign consent
  • Your general health is limited (ECOG performance status 3 or higher)
  • Your liver and other organ tests are within study limits (or sometimes kidney limits are acceptable, including dialysis)
  • You have no key exclusions like certain AML types, pregnancy, or recent prior use of these same drugs
