Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have MDS that is intermediate, high, or very high risk.
  • You are not able to have or choose not to have a standard stem cell transplant from a fully matched donor.
  • You have a relative (age 18+) willing to donate stem cells who is not a full match (only 3 to 7 out of 10 markers matching).
  • Your heart, liver, and kidneys are working well enough to handle the treatment.
  • You are not pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
