Who can take part
- You are age 20 to 40 (including both ages).
- Your pregnancy is single or twin, and you’re between 24 and 36 weeks with preterm labor.
- Your body weight-to-height measure (BMI) is 18.5 to 27.9.
- You have not used antibiotics, probiotics, or prebiotics in the month before the stool (feces) sample.
- You plan to receive dexamethasone by injection (about 5 mg every 12 hours) to help the baby’s lungs.
- You are not in another clinical trial and have not taken certain medicines that could interfere with safety.
